Travelled up to Fraserburgh with Rob and decided that St Combs was the best
spot, with a nice cross shore wind ranging from slightly marginal 6.3m
weather up to nicely powered up. I was having a blast on the Syncro and
further out there were some really nice ramps for jumping as long as you
happened to be in one of the gusts. Rob had manged to fix his X-cite ride's
nose and was enjoying himself as well, although did manage to lose a fin on
a rock. However, when the tide dropped, we had a search for it and luckily
it turned up, although the thread was stripped. However, Rob siad not to
worry as he had a spare brass insert at home he could replace it with. Wind
started to drop off after a couple of hours or so so we called it a day, in
the hope that the forecasts for the Sunday would hold true.
